Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing big data solutions using Hive, Airflow, Deltalake, and PySpark.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop big data solutions using Hive, Airflow, Deltalake, and PySpark.
- Validate and synthesize customer data for planning, visibility, collaboration, and analytics.
- Review and analyze data provided by customers, including technical and functional intent and interdependencies.
- Ensure smooth operations of o9's cloud-based solution, supporting continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Build data ingress or egress pipelines, handling huge volumes of data and developing data transformation functions.
- Use various Hadoop infrastructures, including Map Reduce, Hive, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Airflow, and Oozie.
- Integrate various data sources, including Teradata, SAP ERP, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, and ODBC connectors, through API or batch.
- Understand the o9 platform's data model, including table structures, linkages, and optimal designs, for maintaining, debugging, and enhancing various planning use cases.
- Participate in technical design, data requirements gathering, and making recommendations for inaccurate or missing data.
- 5-7 years of experience in SDLC with a focus on architecting, designing, and developing solutions using big data technologies.
- Languages: SQL and leveraging ETL tools like SSIS for data transformations. Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell scripting; Amazon Web Services (AWS), AZURE, Google Cloud Infrastructures preferred.
- Experience with supply chain planning applications is preferred.
- Ability to take complete ownership of work and deliver with minimal management oversight.
- Statistical, optimization, and simulation skills through software tools and packages like R/Javascript/Python preferred.
