About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Ontologize, Inc. as a key contributor to our enterprise priority of driving innovation through data and digital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data science solutions that turn data into actionable insights in close collaboration with our business stakeholders.
  • Consult on potential solutions, guide the implementation team, and build solutions yourself.
  • Plan and lead the development of data analytics techniques, methodologies, and solutions by applying statistical, machine learning, and other modelling methods.
  • Help our internal customers to understand and implement the results.
Requirements
  • Master or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 years of professional experience outside academia and in Healthcare, ideally in Research and Development.
  • Strong drive to identify new use cases that leverage data science to improve business processes.
  • Strong skills in Machine Learning, Statistics, and Predictive Modelling.
  • Experience in working with data and analytics solutions such as AWS, Snowflake, or Palantir Foundry.
  • Proficiency in Python, especially using PySpark, Pandas, and scikit-learn.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to effectively communicate both with business teams and developers.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working in virtual teams.
