Cloud Data Scientist Role

At SYNNEX Corporation, we're seeking a talented Cloud Data Scientist to join our European excellence team. As a key member of our Data Practice, you'll have the opportunity to apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across various business scenarios in the technology distribution industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for staying current on leading-edge business applications, tools, and approaches, proactively working with the Analytics Leadership to enhance offerings that deliver competitive advantage to our company. You'll have the chance to work with large datasets, variable analytics use cases, and the latest cloud-based data science technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced analytics to various business situations, efficiently advising multiple teams on uncovering critical insights for clients.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on modern machine learning techniques and their business implications, applying this knowledge to drive business outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Analytics Leadership to enhance offerings that deliver competitive advantage to our company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Data Scientist or BI Intelligence.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Deep Data Science expertise, with experience applying advanced analytics to various business situations.
  • Strong presence, collaborator skills, and ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data, with a deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their business implications.
  • Hands-on programming/scripting experience in Python or R, with Power BI and Power platforms experience necessary.
  • Confident statistical and machine learning skills.
  • Strong experience with practical data science and hands-on involvement with deployed ML pipelines in a business environment.
  • Relevant SQL skills.
  • Team player with great communication skills and willingness to help other team members.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
