Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Design Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of our data centers, working closely with architects and engineers to ensure that our projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define Ferrovial design standards for Data Centers, leading external collaborators (architect & engineering services).
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, regulation, standards and certifications.
- Selection and ranking of architect & engineering firms for Data Centers.
- Optimize design to achieve cost and schedule efficiencies.
- Implement and manage a digital platform for efficient design documentation management.
- Promote safety, sustainability, and energy-efficient design solutions.
- Define the Production Design Procedure for DC.
- Provide guidance and support to the Construction team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar technical designs.
- Fluent proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Excellent knowledge of design (architecture & planning) and engineering principles.
- Use of design software and tools: CAD, SKETCH-UP, familiarity with BIM (Revit) and design coordination & management.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency principles.
