The Legal Department
The Legal Department at Ebury is a critical component of the Ebury Group, providing front-line advice on legal, regulatory, and governance matters that drive Ebury's growth. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven corporate lawyer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Structuring and executing strategic initiatives, including fundraising, M&A activity, and transfers of significant equity stakes in Ebury Group companies.
- Advising on corporate structuring matters, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel, and Legal Director to maintain and develop Ebury's corporate structure, considering regulatory, tax, and other relevant factors.
- Assisting with managing communications with investors, responding to shareholder queries, and supporting General Counsel and Company Secretary to uphold best-in-class governance standards across the Ebury Group.
- Reviewing commercial agreements and updating/developing our client terms and conditions and templates.
- Working with the front office, corporate development, product, and other departments to resolve day-to-day queries.
- Representing Ebury in interactions with clients, counterparties, banking partners, industry bodies, and other third parties.
- Contributing to the design and implementation of new products and expansion into new markets.
- Preparing playbooks, procedures, and self-service material and participating in the provision of relevant training and awareness programs.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
