Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Plenoil. As a key member of our Systems department, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and data, overseeing the implementation of cybersecurity solutions, managing incidents, and working closely with specialist service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the implementation of cybersecurity measures and technologies, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Manage vulnerabilities, leading the identification, evaluation, and remediation of potential risks in systems and applications.
  • Monitor networks and systems for suspicious or malicious activity using advanced security tools.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity service providers, managing service agreements (SLAs) and ensuring alignment with the company's security objectives.
  • Lead incident response and containment efforts to minimize the impact of attacks or security breaches.
  • Continuously monitor systems, proactively identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring the improvement of the security infrastructure.
  • Generate periodic reports on security status, managed vulnerabilities, and resolved incidents.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain security tools and solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus.
  • Document and communicate penetration testing findings to relevant teams for remediation.
  • Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and advice on cybersecurity to other departments.
  • Regularly monitor and communicate key KPIs for security governance.
Requirements:
  • Higher technical training in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a cybersecurity specialist/analyst role.
  • Working knowledge of security tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and SIEM.
  • Experience in exploiting vulnerabilities and pentesting techniques.
  • Ability to define cybersecurity policies and strategies, with the ability to make critical decisions based on technical criteria.
  • English level B2.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as a team.
