About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer Sr. to lead our Manufacturing area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating production tasks, collaborating with the R&D team to create prototypes, and leading a team of experts to produce high-end technological systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing Area Leadership: Oversee the Manufacturing area, encompassing production, quality control, and logistics subareas.
- Collaboration with R&D: Work with the Engineering team to prototype our R&D projects, ensuring seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the COO to develop the strategy for the Manufacturing area, driving industrialization and process optimization.
- Industrialization: Spearhead the industrialization process of our systems, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production.
- Process Optimization: Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in electronics or equivalent field.
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in cabling manufacturing, surface-mount device (SMD) soldering, and mechanical assembly processes, preferably in a high-tech or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Emerging Technologies: Demonstrated enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about and explore the application of emerging technologies in manufacturing processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Production Planning: Proficiency in production planning methodologies and tools, such as ERP systems, capacity planning software, and lean manufacturing principles, to optimize resource utilization and meet production targets.
- Verification and Validation: Experience in verification and validation (V&V) processes, including manufacturing peer reviews, to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Laboratory Equipment: Familiarity with laboratory measurement equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, analyzer...).
- Methodical and Organized: Methodical and organized person with a strong attention to detail.
- Dynamic Environment: Used to working in a dynamic and flexible environment.
- Autonomy and Responsibility: Autonomy and responsibility to take on new challenges and lead a team.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to take on new challenges and solve complex problems.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Spanish languages.
- Office Tools: Knowledge of Office tools and ability to effectively analyze and solve problems.
- Electronics Knowledge: Knowledge of electronics schematics, datasheets, and technical instructions.
