- On-call Support: Provide expert support for Linux and cloud infrastructure as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration or operations engineering for web-based platforms.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash and Python.
- Experience in securing production systems, including managing access controls and compliance audits.
- Background in managing large-scale, highly available production environments in cloud settings.
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools like Nagios, PagerDuty, and Splunk.
- Experience with virtualization platforms, whether on-premises or in the cloud, including VMware, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and platforms, such as Teamcity, Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Packer.
