Job Summary

Cbre is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Alcorcon, Madrid. As a key member of our Investment Accounting Reporting Solutions team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and expertise to our clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and other accounting statements.
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including VAT packages and CIT/MBT/NWT/WHT returns.
  • Support due diligence and sales processes, including bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
  • Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger, aggregating financial data on a portfolio level.
  • Coordinate the independent audit, preparing files and answering questions as needed.
  • Prepare financial input for quarterly Board meetings and attend as required.
  • Create and complete financial and management reports for clients and investors.

Requirements

  • Graduated from higher vocational training or university, specializing in finance, such as business economics or accountancy.
  • Experience with preparation of periodic and annual financial reports and annual audit processes.
  • Practical experience with consolidation and tax returns, including VAT and income tax.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as IFRS and Lux Gaap.
  • Certified Accountant qualifications in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
