Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT expert to join our team at Siemens, specializing in customs and export control processes. As an IT Digitalization Expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing IT solutions to optimize customs and export control processes, leveraging your expertise in SAP GTS and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IT solutions to improve customs and export control processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with governance departments, business entities, and regions to develop and implement customs and export control processes.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customs and export control processes, including SAP GTS, logistics, supply chain management, tax, and finance.
  • Design and implement analytical solutions to optimize customs and export control processes, leveraging data models and data sources.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions with business processes.

Requirements:

  • University degree in computer science or business administration.
  • Long-standing IT project and service management expertise based on an agile approach.
  • Extensive experience in customs and export control processes with SAP GTS, as well as neighboring areas such as logistics, supply chain management, tax, and finance.
  • Excellent process and data flow knowledge, with a strong understanding of data models and data sources relevant to customs and export control.
  • Strong analytical thinking and design skills, with experience in requirements engineering, IT solution design, and implementation.
  • Fluent English skills, with German proficiency a plus.
