Job Title: Pharmacovigilance & Medical Information Officer

As a Pharmacovigilance & Medical Information Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day pharmacovigilance function within LEO Pharma Spain Portugal.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide medical information and solve medical queries received from healthcare professionals and partners.
  • Act as Pharmacovigilance Officer, Safety Contact Person (SCP) Spain, and Deputy Safety Contact Person (dSCP) Portugal.
  • Perform Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) and other experiences.
  • Supervise safety post-authorization studies and close processed ICSRs/Other experiences generated in Spain Portugal.
  • Report spontaneous ICSRs to Corporate Pharmacovigilance in due time and support electronic reporting to the Spanish Portuguese Health Authorities.
  • Cooperate with autonomous drug safety centers regarding drug safety issues.
  • Manage and answer information requested from health authorities regarding drug safety.
  • Track all reports and perform reconciliation with business partners.
  • Assist with pharmacovigilance processes, supporting preparation of SOPs, product safety reviews, and literature reviews as required.
