Cyber Security Specialist Vulnerability Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist Vulnerability Management to join our team at BASF SE. As a key member of our CISO Organization, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of our central vulnerability management and remediation service offered to our BASF organization.
Key Responsibilities- Track and coordinate all remediation activities to ensure the security of our organization.
- Report Key Indicators to monitor compliance with security requirements and process performance.
- Onboard new scope areas to the vulnerability management scanning service and continuously improve and mature the services.
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors to establish and maintain good working relationships.
- Closely work with the Cyber Security Defense Center, Security Governance, and IT operations unit to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in vulnerability management or other relevant cyber security fields.
- Experience supporting Attack Surface Management (ASM) tools and processes, including integration into vulnerability management, GRC, and escalation management.
- Ability to work independently in a multinational/global team and bring a structured, analytical, quality-focused approach.
- Completed a subject-related university/technical college degree in (business) informatics or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through many years of relevant professional experience and further training.
- Recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or others would be a plus.
- Practice in information security management and knowledge of relevant norms and standards.
- Excellent communication skills to align and communicate with stakeholders throughout BASF's organization.
- Outstanding language skills in English.
