About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Energy Storage Engineer to join our team in a hybrid position, working from our offices in Spain and remotely. As an Energy Storage Engineer, you will play a key role in our energy storage and green hydrogen team, providing expert advisory services to clients in southern Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain proprietary advisory tools for hybrid project energy modelling using MS Excel and Python-based models.
  • Support a diverse range of customers on chargeable energy storage and other renewable energy technology-related projects.
  • Develop proposals for and implement innovation projects that contribute to the ongoing digitalisation of our advisory services.
  • Support business development by seeking and analysing new business opportunities and additional work for existing customers.
Requirements
  • Expertise in MS Excel with experience in developing spreadsheet models and Visual Basics for Applications (VBA).
  • Good understanding of financial modelling and project finance concepts.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and respectful environment, collaborating with colleagues and clients.
