We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Lighting Designer to collaborate with our in-house design team on high-end hospitality projects in the UK and worldwide.
Responsibilities:- Interpret client briefs and work with interior designers and architects to develop innovative lighting concepts that enhance the design and user experience.
- Produce detailed lighting sketches, schedules, and 3D renders.
- Specify high-quality products and fixtures aligned with project goals.
- Adjust designs based on client feedback while maintaining functionality.
- Explore new materials and techniques to enhance future projects.
- Create installation manuals and documentation.
- Supervise the lighting production.
- Design experiences where physical space meets digital interaction.
- A degree in Lighting Design, product/industrial design/interior architecture/spatial design or equivalent.
- At least five years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in lighting design within high-end residential/hospitality projects.
- Good knowledge of material properties and solutions.
- Ability to think from small to big scale in spatial setups.
- Fluency in 3D software (Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketch-Up), Dialux, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite programs.
- Ability to produce sketch renders for internal reviews in rendering software.
- Interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of meeting high industry standards.
- Portfolio sample of work (both professional and academic).
- Professional level of English.
- Familiarity with UK/EU building regulations.
- Hospitality design experience.
- Rendering and Animation software skills.
- Ability to work remotely.
