Key Responsibilities

  • Manage large research initiatives from beginning to end, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Identify, plan, and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand our users and their needs, identify product improvements, and discover new opportunities.
  • Define, execute, analyze, and interpret primary user experience and qualitative research globally, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Partner with product, engineering, design, market research, analytics, and business leads throughout the research and design process, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Employ a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods remotely and in the field, adapting to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Advocate for user experience research and user-centered design throughout the company, promoting a culture of user-centricity and innovation.
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights, communicating these to key stakeholders and ensuring effective decision-making.
  • Package insights into design tools and assets for product owners and designers to leverage, facilitating informed design decisions and product development.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience on similar products, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality research results.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with a product/software company is a significant advantage, with a deep understanding of the product development process.
  • Expertise in qualitative user experience research methods, with familiarity with quantitative research methods (e.g., contextual inquiry, usability testing, interviews, surveys, data analysis, statistics).
  • Experience working in the Agile software development process, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and present research results with cross-functional teams for review and feedback, ensuring effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Experience with online remote research tools (e.g., Dovetail, UserZoom, UserTesting.com), with a strong understanding of research tools and technologies.
  • Ability to clearly, concisely, and persuasively communicate research findings, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting), with a strong understanding of research methodologies and best practices.

About the Team

We are a product research team with a research operations manager, consisting of six members who work closely and synchronize regularly. We value collaboration, innovation, and user-centricity, and are committed to delivering high-quality research results that drive business growth and user satisfaction.
