**Job Opportunity: Senior Project Finance Analyst for Solar and Energy Storage**

Leap29 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Finance Analyst to support the development, financing, and sale of large-scale Solar and Energy Storage projects across the EMEA Region.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for project acquisitions, financings, power purchase agreements, and engineering, procurement, and construction bids.
  • Coordinate due diligence for acquisitions, financings, and sales, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive market reports, investment memorandums, and project teasers to facilitate business development.
  • Assist in the origination, negotiation, and closing of finance transactions, leveraging expertise in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Analyze investment drivers, perform sensitivity analyses, and assess tax and regulatory implications to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and ensure smooth project progress, fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Conduct research, statistical analysis, and manage project insurance programs to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with macros and Visual Basic.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Finance and/or Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with a Big Four firm or investment fund is a plus.
  • MBA or relevant master's qualification is highly desirable.
  • Native-like proficiency in English (other European languages are a plus).
