The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemistry Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry education, with experience in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, and will have a strong commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality chemistry lessons to students
- Assess and report student progress, using a range of assessment tools and strategies
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and motivation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures, in line with our commitment to excellence and innovation
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Previous experience in chemistry education, preferably in an international school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices in chemistry education
