Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Surveyor to join our team at Tradebe Tecnoambiente. As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing survey projects, executing Party Chief roles in field surveys, and ensuring the quality control and timely delivery of multidisciplinary projects. You will also be responsible for acquiring, processing, and interpreting hydrographic and geophysical data, as well as providing QA/QC support.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management of survey projects in various sectors, including cables, oil and gas, and renewable energy.
• Execute Party Chief role in field surveys, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
• Responsible for quality control and the on-time delivery of a broad range of multidisciplinary projects.
• Acquisition, processing, and interpretation of hydrographic and geophysical data.
• QA/QC support to ensure the highest standards of quality.
• Manage teams of dedicated geophysicists and hydrographers.
• Liaison with clients to ensure their needs are met.
• Availability to travel 20-25% of the time.

Requirements

• Experience in acquiring and processing hydrographic data using multibeam, singlebeam, and echosounder technologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in marine science, geology, topography, or a related field.
• Experience in using common hydrographic software, such as qinsy, PDS2000, Beamorxs, and hypack.
• Experience in writing technical reports and providing QA/QC support.
• Team spirit and a determination to get the job done.
• Commercial awareness and language proficiency in Spanish, Catalan, and English.

What We Value

• Experience in acquiring and processing geophysical data using side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, magnetometer, and other technologies.
• Experience in UXO surveys and underwater positioning using USBL technology.
• Experience in working with ROTV equipment.
