Mercedes-Benz Group AG is a leading automotive enterprise, offering premium and luxury passenger cars. As an in-house software provider, MBGSM (Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid) develops digital products for Mercedes-Benz, supporting manufacturing processes in our plants.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze requirements with developers and Business Unit in Germany to translate into technical solutions.
- Support Product Owner in communication with stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and deploy infrastructure solutions, components, and CICD.
- Ensure security standards are met and development is done according to IT-internal standards.
- Continuously optimize infrastructure in terms of performance, stability, automation, and costs.
- Identify bottlenecks and take countermeasures.
- Continuously improve architecture and quality.
- Train development team on solutions, pipelines, and infrastructure.
- Provide IT administration (documentation of system landscape, roles, technical status, risk management).
- Follow company guidelines regarding security and hardening.
- Follow company strategy in topics like infrastructure, DevOps Toolchain, security.
- Coordinate implementation across projects.
- Support risk assessments and internal audits.
- IT Architect with minimum 3 years experience.
- Bachelor or Master level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
- English fluently is mandatory. Working knowledge of German is a plus.
Full-time position with a combination of mobile and on-premise work. Availability for travel to Germany 5-10% of working days per year.
