About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our data engineering strategy. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and tech teams to provide the tools and infrastructure needed to support their work.

You will be expected to work autonomously, prioritizing your goals based on effort and impact. You will also be responsible for iterating over our data strategy and day-to-day operations, and for influencing the direction of our data initiatives.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data processing performance.
  2. Strengthening our Data stack to support our growing, data-driven business.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver data-driven insights that inform user acquisition, game design, user experience, and ad monetization.
  4. Developing and maintaining data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions to support analytics, machine learning, and reporting.
  5. Ensuring data security and compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  6. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving data-related issues to improve data reliability and maintain data integrity.
  7. Proactively identifying opportunities for data architecture improvements and implementing changes to optimize system performance and scalability.
  8. Staying current with the latest data engineering trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that our data infrastructure remains cutting-edge and efficient.
  9. Mentoring and providing guidance to junior data team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced data engineer with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems. You should have expertise in SQL, Python, or other programming languages used in data engineering, as well as experience building complex and robust data architectures handling large amounts of data.
