About the Role

We're looking for a talented Senior Java Backend Developer to join our Financial Services team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our distributed high-performance platform.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new features and functionality for our platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more robust and scalable
  • Work on our finance infrastructure to keep it scalable, reliable, and secure
Requirements
  • Experience working with Java and SQL/PostgreSQL databases
  • Senior experience working with object-oriented programming languages
  • Flexible, a team player, and someone with an eye for detail
  • Able to take ownership and lead a project, and who enjoys writing testable code
  • Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts
  • Full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English
