Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our platform engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our development teams to design and implement scalable and reliable systems.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting processes for our infrastructure and applications.
  • Utilize observability tools to gain insights into system performance and health, and make data-driven decisions for improvements.
  • Design and implement automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Perform on-call duties to address high-severity incidents and ensure system availability.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment patterns on GCP or AWS.
  • Experience operating web-scale deployments of containerized systems on Kubernetes and Amazon Container Services.
  • Deep understanding of programming languages and the systems you've worked on.
