Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous oversight of Aircraft Technical Conditions.
  • Provide expert technical assistance to flight crews, offering immediate guidance on MEL dispatch and troubleshooting issues.
  • Manage maintenance support at remote locations.
  • Monitor AOG situations and facilitate recovery, including fault isolation and parts requisition.
  • Ensure timely management and resolution of Deferred Defects, directly influencing fleet operational efficiency.
  • Update and communicate Fleet Technical Status and Operational Limitations.
  • Conduct monitoring of the Airbus Fleet condition using AIRMAN (Aircraft Maintenance Analysis) to recommend necessary corrective actions.
  • Perform traceability, analysis, and troubleshooting of intermittent faults across the fleet.
  • Follow up on technical delays and report during daily operations.
  • Supervise scheduled maintenance to ensure compliance with Volotea standards by Line Maintenance contractors.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the maintenance department, Operations Control Center (OCC), and flight crews on a daily basis, supporting operations to minimize schedule disruptions.
  • Provide onsite support at Line Stations.
  • Assist with non-routine maintenance activities (e.g., engine replacements).

Required Qualifications:

  • EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer with certification on Airbus A32X series (CFM56 engine type).
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience; troubleshooting experience is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in Maintenance Control, Technical Representation, Airline Engineering, or Line Maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to all stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential; knowledge of Italian and French is a plus.
  • Highly organized and self-disciplined, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proactive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software, particularly the MS Office suite.
  • Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience with AMOS and AIMS is an advantage.
  • Valid EASA Regulation (Part M, Part 145), EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certificates are beneficial.
  • Valid Driver's License.
