Overview
Nakupuna Consulting is in search of an Aviation Supply Analyst to become a vital part of our skilled team of consultants. This role involves delivering professional services to support various aviation operations, including squadrons and Department of Defense activities in the Atlantic region. The selected candidate will engage in supply support and various clerical tasks to enhance organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The following outlines the essential functions of this position, although additional tasks may be assigned as necessary:
- Execute transactions, assist customers, and manage reference files to optimize delivery schedules, including reviewing stock records and requisitioning as needed.
- Oversee and uphold accountability programs using automated data processing systems, ensuring data consistency and proper cross-referencing.
- Audit property documents for data accuracy and compliance, handling transactions that involve the addition or removal of property items.
- Update data related to specialized equipment, ensuring accurate information is reflected in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) and other relevant databases.
- Conduct thorough research to resolve unprocessed supply documents, update national stock numbers (NSNs), and manage inventory limits while processing batch file transfers.
- Coordinate procurement actions for specific supply support programs, ensuring efficient management of resources.
- Maintain and review documentation for supply actions, ensuring compliance with requisitioning processes and coordinating with requesters.
- Monitor inventory status, prepare reports for management, and compile data for both recurring and special reports as required.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a background in naval aviation supply processes. Familiarity with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) and NALCOMIS is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of four years of experience in Naval Aviation supply.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
- Willingness to climb ladders or use manlifts for inventory tasks.
- Frequent bending, stretching, and reaching as necessary.
- Use of hands and fingers for handling small objects.
- Compliance with safety protocols, including wearing masks as required.
