Software Engineer with DevOps Expertise

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with DevOps expertise to join our Chapter SW Engineering R&D Internal Solutions team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write high-quality code and ensure its quality through unit, integration, and acceptance tests
  • Take ownership of sub-components, finalizing requirements clarification and development
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our systems, working closely with product owners, developers, and testers
  • Improve and automate the deployment of our desktop applications
  • Develop innovative concepts and methods to deploy our applications and services
  • Continuously improve our deployment and QA processes
  • Interact and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Improve the applications based on customer and user feedback in a DevOps and Agile mode
Requirements
  • Experience in the deployment and development of desktop applications
  • Strong level of OOP programming skills with C# and.Net Framework
  • Web-based development experience, including RESTful WebServices and API Services
  • Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting skills on Windows, including PowerShell or similar
  • Knowledge of source code management tools, such as Git, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, and GitHub
  • Experience using Git for version control
  • Experience with MS SQL Server or similar, including Entity Framework knowledge
  • English language proficiency
Nice to Have
  • DevSecOps skillset
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum and SAFE
  • German language proficiency
