Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to join our team. As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you will be responsible for programming through CAD-CAM of various machining machines, as well as supervising the correct transfer of the program to manufacturing at the machine level.
Key Responsibilities- Determine Optimal Machining Strategy: Develop and implement the most efficient machining strategy to manufacture each component, taking into account material properties and manufacturing constraints.
- Program CNC Machines: Utilize Siemens NX and Hypermill software to program CNC machines, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
- Collaborate with Engineering Team: Work closely with the engineering team to provide crucial design input to manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration of design and production.
- Design and Develop Machining Tools: Design and develop machining tools necessary for complex operations, demonstrating expertise in tool design and development.
- Develop Work Instructions: Create detailed work instructions for use in the workshop, specifying the most appropriate sequence of operations.
- Choose and Calculate Working Conditions: Select the most suitable tools and calculate working conditions to ensure efficient and safe production.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or analogous field.
- Experience: +7 years of experience programming CNC machines at the machine level, with a strong background in CAD/CAM software and machining tools.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of machining tools and techniques, experience with different types of metals, and proficiency in G and M code programming.
- Language: Spoken and written English.
- Predisposition to Work at the Machine Level: A strong willingness to work at the machine level, with a focus on efficient and safe production.
- Experience in the Aeronautical Sector: Previous experience in the aeronautical sector will be highly valued.
- Knowledge in Metrology: Experience with metrology and quality control will be an asset.
- Teamwork and Stress Tolerance: Strong teamwork and stress tolerance skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
