Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our HP Graphics Experience Center team in Barcelona, Spain. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a vital role in the sales process, helping potential customers understand the value and capabilities of our large format printing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of large format printing technology, including various printing processes, RIP software, substrates, sustainability, and color management.
  2. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the company's large format printing products, their features, capabilities, and applications.
  3. Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing the benefits and capabilities of the large format printing solutions at our center and at industry events and trade shows.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to support them in closing deals by addressing technical questions and concerns from potential customers.
  5. Product Feedback: Collect customer feedback and insights on the products to help improve the design, features, and functionality of future offerings.
  6. Problem-solving: Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues or challenges that may arise during solution testing, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  7. Industry Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements in the large format printing sector to provide informed recommendations.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest developments in large format printing technology through training and self-study to ensure expertise.
  9. Goal Achievement: Work towards meeting or exceeding sales and demonstration targets as set by the organization.

Requirements:

  1. A university degree in Graphics and equivalent experience of a minimum of 5 years in the Large Format Industry.
  2. Proficiency in English and fluency in other European languages.
  3. Willingness to travel.
  4. A deep understanding of printing principles, theories, and concepts.
  5. A strong customer-centric approach.
  6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
