About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at UPS. As a key member of our Maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee the safety of our facilities and report any potential anomalies.
- Organize and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated and electromechanical sorting facilities.
- Diagnose problems, investigate potential causes, and ensure facility service recovery.
- Prepare maintenance reports and utilize our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Control and manage the inventory of spare parts.
- Provide support to our team of maintenance technicians.
Requirements
- Medium to higher level professional training in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field, with demonstrable experience.
- Flexibility to work shifts from Monday to Friday.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Medium level of English proficiency is essential.
- Knowledge of electrical plans and schematics.
- Previous experience in industrial mechanics, electrical installation, and classification systems is highly valued.
- Intermediate level computer knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace.
