Key Responsibilities

  • Assess business needs and provide creative solutions in conformance to emerging standards
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, business, and partners
  • Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers
  • Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
  • Design layered applications, including user interface, business functionality, and database access
  • Apply Agile methodology daily and follow Definition of Done (DoD) process for better quality
  • Define, design, and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software systems throughout all phases of the software development process
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in software engineering and architecture in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Statistics, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with partners globally
  • Experience with EAI products from TIBCO, IBM, Oracle, MuleSoft, WSO2, or others
  • Comprehensive experience in Java, J2EE, JSP, EJB, HTML, XML, Web 2
