Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in subsea cable initiatives (AC and HVDC) by providing expertise in cable engineering, design, technology, and manufacturing.
  • Formulate specifications for high-voltage cable systems intended for inner array or export applications.
  • Evaluate cable design and production documentation.
  • Organize and participate in supplier and factory evaluations, including cable type testing, while overseeing cable manufacturing processes.
  • Provide engineering support for non-conformance reports and issues arising during cable production.
  • Coordinate with cable installation teams.
  • Detect and communicate technical risks.
  • Enhance the design of inner array grid configurations and export cable connections for offshore wind energy projects.
  • Report to project managers and collaborate with team members across various departments.
Candidate Profile
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in subsea cable engineering.
  • Proficient in developing or engaging with EPC tender, design, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Knowledgeable in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and/or alternating current (AC) power transmission.
  • Experience with offshore wind and/or interconnector projects.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Open to frequent travel to project locations.
  • Possess a valid EU work permit.
