Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to join our team at Reconocida empresa. As a key member of our procurement community, you will play a crucial role in building and delivering opportunities through active engagement and collaboration with teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and Develop the Procurement Team: Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team to ensure they can respond quickly and positively to changes in the business and industry.
2. Drive Improvements in the Procurement Function: Work collaboratively across all sites to drive improvements in the procurement function, ensuring that we leverage our combined scale to achieve maximum value.
3. Monitor Supply Agreements: Monitor the performance of supply agreements and take action to ensure that performance criteria are fulfilled, resulting in cost savings and improved quality.
4. Coordinate Strategic Procurement: Coordinate strategic procurement of commodities and non-commodities in line with overall budgets, ensuring that we maximize value and minimize risk.
5. Establish Position on Traded Products: Establish our position on traded products to maximize value and provide contract management expertise to other business functions as required.
6. Evaluate Total Value Chain: Evaluate the total value chain to identify the best strategic approach to deliver maximum value and meet customer needs.

Requirements

1. Significant Experience in Raw Material Buying: Significant experience of raw material buying, with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving quality.
2. End-to-End Procurement Experience: Experienced in the end-to-end procurement process, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
3. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Experienced in developing, maintaining, and managing credible and beneficial stakeholder relationships, with a strong ability to communicate effectively.
4. Project Management: Comfortable with managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, with a strong ability to motivate and lead a team.
5. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in Spanish and English, with a strong understanding of business terminology and concepts.
