We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Kimpton Vividora Barcelona. As the friendly face of our hotel bar, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm and inviting ambiance for all guests, setting the tone for a memorable experience.
- Describe the selection of beverages and menu items to guests, highlighting the origin, taste, and preparation methods of each item.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all recipes, spirits, cocktails, and food offerings.
- Manage inventory, ensuring that beverages are well-stocked and maintaining the quality of house-made ingredients and preparations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the working area, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Assist colleagues with ad-hoc duties and work collaboratively with the restaurant and kitchen teams to provide seamless food service.
- Assess customer needs and preferences, making recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Process cash and credit card payments, accurately closing guest checks and settling voided checks or complimentary items.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in a hotel or bar as a bartender.
- Fluency in the local language (Catalan) and English; additional languages are highly valued.
- Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, and team-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
