Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at GMV. As a key member of our Space Satellite Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing on-board software and firmware for our satellite systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop technical and user requirements for on-board software and firmware.
  • Prepare software development specifications and participate in validation campaigns.
  • Analyze and design on-board software and firmware, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software and firmware with other satellite systems.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with microcontroller design flows and embedded Linux systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and experience with GIT repositories and Linux-based operating systems.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation equipment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work remotely 80% of the time.
