We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lab Coordinator to join our R&D team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing laboratory tasks, executing procedures, and leading administrative tasks within the R&D department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage laboratory tasks, including organization and maintenance of laboratory spaces and equipment, samples preparation, and coordination of shelf-life studies and nutritional analysis.
  • Assist R&D Project Managers with product development projects and support all development and pre-launch activities to create winning products.
  • Lead various administrative tasks within the R&D department, including coordination of the purchase of new equipment and consumables, control of lab stock, and collaboration with other functions (Quality, Finance).
  • Identify opportunities to optimize current lab procedures and ways of working (SOPs, inventory and stock management, equipment and spaces maintenance) and implement them.
  • Safely operate equipment, understand food safety requirements, and perform risk assessments.
  • Ensure the laboratory is safe, clean, sanitary, well-organized, and that building/equipment maintenance operations are performed.
Requirements:
  • A caring attitude towards our mission and a desire to help, assist, and solve people's needs with a GoodVibes attitude.
  • Passion for the business and a deep understanding of it to ensure your job at this role is aligned to business needs and goals.
  • Previous experience in similar roles, ideally at an FMCG company or a high-growth startup.
  • A BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline, Food Science, Food Engineering, or similar.
  • Evidence of adapting smoothly to new environments and learning fast.
  • Knowledge across a variety of lab procedures and analytical techniques.
  • An analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving mindset to approach everyday challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize and anticipate opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English (mandatory) and Spanish.
  • Ability to create strong and trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
