Senior Risk Management Strategist

This is a senior-level position within the Safety Management Team at Novartis, a leading pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the team on Good Pharmacovigilance Practices and other regulatory requirements for Safety Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a robust Risk Management Plan strategy aligned with the benefit-risk profile of products.
- Collaborate with the Safety Lead and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and synergies between Periodic Safety Update Reports, Development Safety Update Reports, and Risk Management Plans.
- Initiate tracking of commitments and liaise with relevant functions to maintain and monitor commitments.
- Represent the Risk Management function in the Safety Management Team and work closely with the Safety Lead, Regulatory, and other team members to plan and define risk minimization activities.
- Partner with the commercial team to integrate RMP requirements into marketing launch activities and communications.
- Mentor new hires in the AR & RM team as an RMP expert.
- At least 7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company, preferably in drug safety, clinical research, or regulatory affairs.
- 3 or more years of expert knowledge in safety risk management.
- Proven ability to work with large cross-functional teams in complex projects.
- Demonstrated teamwork and effective communication skills.
