We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer to join our team at Western Union. As a key member of our Digital Banking hub in Madrid, you will be responsible for establishing core digital banking and wallet solutions globally, while mentoring and providing support to junior associates.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in MuleSoft platform development, with experience in solutioning, developing enhancements, and implementing banking clients. You will lead work on innovative technology solutions to drive API development and enhancements on the MuleSoft platform for the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technology projects and mentor junior associates
  • Develop and implement digital banking and wallet solutions globally
  • Mentor and provide support to junior associates
  • Collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers
  • Develop technical and domain expertise to solve product challenges
  • Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional and cross-regional impacts

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related fields with 6+ years of professional experience or MS with 4+ years of experience
  • Ability to lead technology projects and mentor junior associates
  • Hands-on experience working with and managing the MuleSoft platform, including Anypoint Studio, Exchange, and Connectors
