About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Consultant to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Data Management and Landscape Transformation group, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their business and technological transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and deliver Data migration and Data transformation tools to meet customer needs.
  • Execute data migration and transformation delivery activities in projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Analyze and resolve issues resulting from customer testing, providing expert solutions and recommendations.
  • Build competencies and expertise to become a solution expert in a short time frame, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop best practice documents and onboard colleagues, demonstrating ability to scale and drive business impact.
  • Identify customer logistics business needs and design and architect the appropriate solution proposal from the Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) portfolio and beyond.
  • Lead and drive customer opportunities throughout all engagement phases, architecting potential solution designs and delivering high-quality results.
  • Facilitate customer workshops and discussions to validate the best solution design for customer requirements.
  • Lead the delivery of DMLT projects remotely and onsite, in distributed regional and global teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and system analyses, supported by SAP DMLT technology and methodology, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to continuously enhance the DMLT solution design according to changing market requirements, identifying potential enhancements and improving our service offering.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of technical experience in Consulting delivery, with a strong background in SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, PM) and data model.
  • Technical delivery of minimum 2 SAP data migration projects, with experience in SAP ABAP programming languages, debugging, and interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC/S4HANA data model, with sound understanding of processes in Logistics application modules.
  • Experience working with SAP customers from different industry segments, with a strong exposure to working with SAP Customers from different industry segments such as Public Sector, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Utilities, Automobile, etc.
  • Experience in new implementation projects on S4HANA, leveraging Migration Cockpit, Data Services, or Migration WorkBench Tool, with implemented data migration objects in the SD, MM, PP, PM modules.
  • SAP DMLT tools, methodology, and data migration experience is beneficial.
  • Process know-how for essential business processes like Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design-2-Operate, or Hire-2-Retire is a strong asset.
  • Proven track record in C-level communication, with excellent communication and moderation skills, strong team spirit, and fluency in English required.
  • High customer focus and business impact, with a team player attitude, proactive networking attributes, results, and execution focus, high drive, and self-starter/motivated.
  • Availability to travel (10% - 30%).
  • Experience working in international customer projects is a plus.
