Position Overview:
As an Electrical Systems Integration Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for advanced aerospace platforms. This role requires you to act as the primary liaison among various engineering teams, ensuring the cohesive integration of electrical systems with avionics and electromechanical components. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving the successful certification, testing, and qualification of these systems, in compliance with the highest industry standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration initiatives for electrical systems across avionics and electromechanical subsystems for innovative aerospace platforms.
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing phases, emphasizing electrical network integrity, protection mechanisms, resonance assessments, and reconfiguration strategies.
- Oversee system requirements management, including requirement capture, validation, traceability, and change management.
- Collaborate with and manage system and equipment suppliers, ensuring that technical specifications are clearly defined and adhered to.
- Conduct qualification analysis, review supplier test procedures, and develop and execute integration test plans and reports.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the integration of electrical systems within the aerospace sector.
- Strong comprehension of FAA/EASA certification requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of aerospace processes and standards.
- Advanced proficiency in English (C1 or higher) with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
