Role Purpose

The IT Systems Manager and Administrator will oversee and sustain the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring peak performance and security. This position entails managing the IT team, implementing technological solutions, and providing strategic IT guidance to align with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Act as the primary contact for our IT team, facilitating their optimal performance.
  • System Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, networks, and software.
  • Technical Support: Address hardware and software issues for all staff.
  • Project Management: Plan and supervise IT projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Vendor Relations: Manage procurement and maintenance of IT equipment and services.
  • Policy Development: Create and enforce IT policies to ensure compliance.
  • System Monitoring: Continuously monitor our systems and propose enhancements.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Ensure robust plans are in place for quick recovery from IT disruptions.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of networks, Windows, Linux, cloud services, and system administration tools.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading and mentoring an IT team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution abilities.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Project Management Skills: Competence in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
