Loss Prevention Officer

London Drugs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security and investigations team, you will play a critical role in protecting our assets and preventing loss.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveillance and investigations at store locations to identify areas of loss and develop strategies to reduce shrinkage.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to detect and apprehend individuals committing criminal offenses against the company.
  • Secure evidence, write reports, and prepare documents for court testimony as required.
  • Perform special assignments, including lock repair, key control, staff awareness, and orientation.
  • Maintain the overall security of our locations.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Commitment to protecting people and property in a safe and legal manner.
  • Ability to work under strict confidentiality and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal, for report writing and court testimony.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
