Job Summary

Qorvo, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and standardizing reticle build and tapeout flows for RF Integrated Circuit and module products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Reticle Build and Tapeout Flow Development: Design, develop, refine, and document reticle build and tapeout flows to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  2. Flow Standardization: Architect innovative reticle build flows that standardize work across Qorvo's global tapeout areas, promoting consistency and reducing errors.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with technology development, software development, business units, and fab engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and effective communication of design requirements.
  4. EDA Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Determine and benchmark new EDA tools and platforms, identifying gaps and areas needing improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  5. Automation and Customization: Guide tapeout flow automation and customized reticle build tools to improve productivity and reduce manual errors.
  6. Requirements Documentation: Create requirement documents for delivery to the software development team, ensuring clear and concise communication of design requirements.
Requirements
  1. Education: MSEE or BSEE with 10+ years of experience with analog or RF circuits.
  2. Experience: Recent college graduates will be considered with relevant internship experience with analog or RF circuits.
  3. Skills: Familiarity with high-performance RFIC, MMIC, and module design flows, proficiency with major electronic design automation (EDA) software platforms (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Keysight ADS, Cadence/AWR Microwave Office).
  4. Personal Qualities: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to work and communicate effectively in a diverse, cross-functional engineering climate, leadership skills in a multidisciplinary team environment, Microsoft Office proficiency.
