Product Owner - Data Department

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our Data Department at Gaming Innovation Group. As a Data Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Data Platform and its various components, ensuring they are scalable, cost-efficient, robust, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Product Owner, facilitating Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, review, retrospectives) and guiding the teams in following Agile best practices.
  • Own the product backlog, and define user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritise tasks based on business value, technical complexity, and urgency.
  • Ensure that the backlog is transparent, visible, and aligned with the overall product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with different data teams including data engineers, data scientists, business intelligence, and data analysts, to ensure alignment across all objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Manage stakeholders' expectations and assist them to develop business cases that align with GiG's strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct release planning and update stakeholders with the status of deliverables.
  • Build business requirement documentation, and ensure sign-off on requirements and solutions, before development starts and launch to market.
