About the Role

Sonder Inc. is seeking a skilled Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing top-notch breakfast services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and disassemble the breakfast buffet before and after mealtime.
  • Ensure the breakfast buffet remains well-stocked at all times.
  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Clean and sanitize tables and countertops after each meal service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of other areas of the property as needed.
  • Travel to multiple Sonder properties throughout the local market, as required.
  • Prepare dishes during the breakfast service.
  • Ensure kitchen preparation and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Manage inventory, organization, and purchasing orders in a FIFO manner.
Requirements
  • Guest-centric and positive mindset.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety guidelines.
  • Organized, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Comfort in independent problem-solving with the humility to ask for help when needed.
  • Unintimidated by using mobile apps for team collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to lift/carry items and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Previous experience working in hospitality, service, and/or customer experience.
