About the Role
The Internal Audit Manager is a key member of Amadeus' Group Internal Audit team, responsible for planning and performing internal audit reviews across the Amadeus IT Group's activities worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute audit reviews across the Amadeus Group's different lines of business.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders while performing reviews.
- Formalize independent assessments and recommendations.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to identify potential audit matters relevant to supporting the effective roll-out of the Group's strategic roadmap.
- Participate in advisory activities, evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes, and control procedures.
Requirements
- Holds a university degree preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Legal, or Information Technology engineering.
- Has a strong knowledge of internal &/or external auditing, obtained through 8+ years of relevant experience in audit (internal or external), risk management, compliance &/or operations.
- Is proficient in English (both spoken and written).
- Demonstrates solid attention to detail, and ability to clearly communicate information to a wide range of audiences.
- Proficiency in data analytics.
- Professional certifications in auditing, accountancy &/or Anti-Money-Laundering, Fintech... and exposure to financial services (e.g. eMoney) regulatory frameworks would be a plus.
