HSSE Supervisor

Wood is currently seeking a highly skilled HSSE Supervisor to join our team in Tarragona, Spain. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our workers and the preservation of the environment.

• Develop and implement HSSE plans and procedures in accordance with company standards and relevant legislation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and Client expectations.
• Provide training and guidance to site personnel on HSSE procedures and best practices.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

• Recognized HSSE certification (Tecnico de Prevencion de Riesgos Laborales Intermedio or superior).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSSE roles (supervisor and above) with exposure to engineering and construction projects, particularly in the oil & gas/chemical industry.
• Fluent Spanish and proficient English language skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and 14001 systems, as well as WOOD HSSE and Client requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a proactive approach to HSSE management.
