Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Procurement Support professional to join Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Madrid.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Services Procurement Support professional, you will play a crucial role in securing the availability of critical assemblies and materials for a national Spanish program. You will manage a diverse and international supplier base, finding solutions in a highly dynamic environment.

You will be responsible for self-sustaining this focus area and owning the relationship with internal customers and suppliers. Your tasks will include contributing to the sourcing activity, managing tendering and contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with Company requirements.

You will also manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and run projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks. Additionally, you will contribute to multifunctional and multidivisional teams throughout the tendering, contracting, and contract life cycle phases.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Education to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Negotiation-level communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in customer services procurement.
  • Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, multi-functional team-working, flexibility, and proactive behavior.
