About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Media-Saturn Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product owners to define requirements and solutions.
- Take ownership of services and apps, maintaining and operating them in our cloud infrastructure.
- Share knowledge with team colleagues, contributing to the growth of the team.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with a proven track record of building and operating applications in production.
- Proficiency in NodeJS and TypeScript, with experience in developing modern backend systems.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, with a focus on testing and code quality.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
- Familiarity with the application life cycle, including building, deploying, and operating microservices in a cloud infrastructure.
- Strong team spirit, with experience working in agile teams and a willingness to take on freedom and responsibility.
