About the RoleWe are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help model and maintain the Data Platform. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining ELT/ETL data pipelines from a variety of data sources.
- Serving hands-on delivery of data models using solid software engineering practices.
- Managing overall pipeline orchestration using Airflow.
- Collaborating with team members to reinforce best practices across the platform.
- Identifying opportunities to optimise and refine existing processes.
We use a range of technologies including Google Cloud Platform, Apache Airflow, dbt Cloud, Docker, Cloud Build, dbt, Looker, Looker Studio, Github, and Jira. If you have experience with these tools, it would be a plus.
