Job Summary
Careerwallet is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer to lead our team in the design of process units for Oil & Gas projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical activities related to piping design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of design activities for assigned units, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Report to the project piping leader and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs.
- Develop and implement piping design specifications, classes, and standards, ensuring seamless integration with other engineering disciplines.
- Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with specialists involved in studies, including civil, stress, material, and support engineers, to ensure effective interfaces and project progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or technical degree in a relevant field.
- More than 6 years of experience in a similar function, with a proven track record of delivering complex piping designs.
- Relevant experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical Industry.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (B1 level) and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with software such as E3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation.
