Job Title: Localization Testing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Testing Coordinator to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our Worldwide Localization Team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality localized versions of our titles to over 30 countries around the world.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide project management support to ensure timely and successful delivery of localization projects.
  2. Participate in project preparation and tools setup to ensure seamless execution.
  3. Manage the efforts of Localization Testers, both locally and remotely, to ensure efficient testing processes.
  4. Assign daily tasks to Localization Testers and oversee their progress.
  5. Perform Bug Tracking Management tasks to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  6. Support testers with hardware and tools knowledge to ensure they have the necessary resources to perform their tasks.
  7. Oversee daily status reports and deliverables to Project Managers.
  8. Risk Management: detect, communicate, and resolve risks affecting testing.
  9. Participate in recruitment and training of new team members.
  10. Develop and maintain training materials to ensure team members have the necessary skills.
  11. Train team members on new processes and tools.
  12. Contribute to taskforces and programs aimed at improving tools and processes.
  13. Perform thorough reviews of products to detect localization bugs within deadlines.
  14. Fix directly in the Text Database those fixable through text changes and report and regress the others.
  15. Pay specific attention to guideline-related bugs and have knowledge of compliance effects.
  16. Ensure correct bug severity evaluation, write-up of bugs, and proposed corrections to facilitate bug fixing.
  17. Follow testing and reporting processes.
  18. Participate in audio talent selection and support Recording Studios.
  19. Perform other assets review tasks on request and directly fix issues when possible.
  20. Provide input and ideas to improve LT progress.
  21. Inform the Loc Project Management team of any issues that may slow down or stop LT progress.
  22. Maintain teamwork within the team.
  23. Perform localization POC in development studios, complying with local rules and procedures.
  24. Provide feedback on current or potential translators.
Special Considerations:

It is essential to have experience working in a team environment of constant change.

Skills Required:
  1. Excellent mother tongue and English skills, fluent in both written and oral communication.
  2. Very good knowledge in cultural areas related to EA video games.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of video game platforms.
  4. Demonstrate an organized, structured approach to testing tasks with an eye for details.
Experience Required:
  1. 2 years of experience in EA.
  2. Worked in a multicultural team.
  3. Coordination or management of 2+ people teams.
